Eastern Samar State University brought together its University personnel for a momentous General Assembly and Send-Off Party on December 21, 2023, at the Canuctan Hall.
Participated by University key officials, headed by its University President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., faculty members, and administrative staff, the event kicked off with a Thanksgiving Mass presided over by the University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Christian Ofilan. This was followed by a presentation on updates of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) issuances delivered by Mr. Rey Albert B. Uy, Director II of the CSC Field Office of Borongan City.
In a heartfelt tribute to their unwavering commitment and tireless service, the retirees of the University took center stage, basking in a well-deserved spotlight. With years of dedication etched into the very fabric of the institution, the retirees were honored with plaques of recognition and tokens, symbolizing the indelible mark they have left on the University’s growth and development.
The atmosphere shifted to one of excitement as the faculty members and administrative employees showcased a delightful array of presentations. Embracing the festive spirit of Christmas, the event also highlighted exciting raffle items, adding a touch of holiday cheer.
