In response to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) support statement and in obedience to ESSU president's directive of undertaking activities relative to efforts of flattening the COVID-19 pandemic curve, Atty. Rhoda M. Cebricus, Dean of the College of Law and President of the IBP-Eastern Samar Chapter, has initiated the repacking and distribution of hygiene kits to inmates detained in the Provincial and Sub-provincial Jails and in Borongan City and Dolores Municipal Jail.

 With the diligent leadership of the Campus Administrator, Dr. Geronimo A. Ellado and the active support of the Director for Research and Extension, Maria Joy Jocosol, and the Head of Extension Services, Mr. Ariel Araneta, together with the Deans and Program heads, and the faculty members and staff of ESSU-Can-avid, relevant activities in support of ESSU KONTRA COVID-19 project were undertaken.
