CCE holds orientation seminar for new employees

The program started with addressing the presence of the participants by Mr. Vicente “Jun” Agda Jr., the director of CCE and Ms. Mary Ann Hermano of the College of Arts and Sciences, the hosts of the program. The program proceeded with the delivery of the main topics discussed by the resource speakers.

Atty. Rhoda M. Cebricus, the dean of the College of Law and Atty. Nat King Coles, the dean of the College of Business Management and Accountancy deliberated points about the topic “Administrative Discipline and Selected Provisions of R.A 6713 otherwise known as Norms of Ethical Behavior for Teachers and Employees: Doing What IS Right All the Time”. This was followed by the topic titled “Be Proud You Are With ESSU” which focused on the Human Resource Management updates that was explained by its head officer, Ms. Lydia D. Abenis.

On the afternoon part of the program, another topic titled “Service with a Smile: The Role of Public Relations in Making Things Done” was expounded by the Public Relations and Information Management Office Director, Prof. Arnel A. Balbin. Afterwards, Mr. Vicente Agda Jr. gave further ideas on the ways of “Making ESSU, the Best Place to Work For Employees and Students are Special in this University”. As soon as the topics were delivered, feedbacks were entertained by the resource speakers in a Focus Group Discussion.

The program ended with the distribution of certificates to the participants and closing remarks by the Vice President for Administrative Services, Dr. Ernesto T. Anacta.
