Specifically, other candidates who participated in the tilt were: Reymart Ortiguesa and Joanna Mie Picardal of College of Education; Hernan Logon and Burbano Thresie of College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences; Butch N. Arma and Ma.Rosalie Alambra from Senior High School Department; Jamie Lubiano-CAS,Janus Flannah Jonco of College of Engineering ; Christ Kent Garia and Aiko Moscosa of College of Computer Studies; Angel Grace Datay of College of Business Management and Accountancy; Kenneth Glenn Organista and Jessa Ramirez of School of Vocational Technlogy; and Nicka Angela Narte and Marvin Lopez of College of Nursing.
These candidates will still represent their respective colleges in the forthcoming Quintuple Meet and the result in the Mr. and Miss Intramurals 2017 will not be counted.
Why Hold Intramurals, Anyway?
Sportsfests is one of the annual events conducted in the university. The academe through the Sports Services Office exerts an enormous preparation just to come up a successful sporting event. Unit managers undergo rigid screening and tryouts just to send athletes that will bring victors to the team. Participating athletes are mindless of the physical and mental exhaustion. Of all these scenario, we can’t help but ask, why hold intramurals in the university, anyway?
