The biggest college as to the number of students, College of Business Management and Accountancy (CBMA) is Unit III as “Yellow Tigers”. Lastly, the College of Nursing (CON) and College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences (CANS) as “Green Blazers” are Unit IV.
The program formally started by an invocation, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the ESSU Hymn by ESSU Glee. “Victory is not measured on winning the game but on how you played the game.” Dr. Edmundo A. Campoto, the University President, said as he delivered his opening remarks.
To give a beat and a good vibe for a fresh start of the said event, Mrs. Gloria Cleta Corado, led the zumba dance as the rest of the ESSU community followed her dance steps. After which, the raising of ESSU and unit banners led by Dr. Edmundo A. Campoto, Dr. Emilia L. Baquilod, Dr. Ernesto T. Anacta and Dr. Eva P. Palada followed. The unit banners were raised by College Deans and its representatives.
Selected National SCUAA 2014 athletes enthusiastically lighted the torch symbolizing sportsmanship, amity and camaraderie. As it was said, lighting the way for others brightens the path for ourselves.
