Thereafter, college deans of the participating units position themselves in the banner poles area for the banner raising ceremony. Dr. Leovigildo Cardenas and Dr. Lorna Capito of College of Education represented Unit I; Dr. Reazol Bano of Senior High School Department and Mr. Calisay of College of Arts and Sciences for Unit II; Dr. Alirose Lalosa of College of Arts and Sciences for Unit III;
Unit I was declared winner in the banner raising competition.
Followed this activity was the lighting of torch performed by selected Regional SCUAA Athletes 2016.
Mr. John Carlo Calicoy, chess player in the 2017 National SCUAA led the Oath of Amateurism.
Of course, the program was not completed without the search for Mr. and Miss Intramural Games 2017 wherein, Hannah Costuna, Miss College of Engineering and Yuri Tzu Sun, Mr.College of Business Management and Accountancy clinched the awards respectively.
The program was closed through pronouncement of Mr.Federico Suyot, Sports Director for the official opening of Intramural Games 2017.
Ma’am Christiana Irel Davila served as the commentator of the opening ceremony.
